The Links at Hunters Ridge is now hiring for the 2020 golf season and beyond. We are looking for fun, outgoing, hospitality-oriented individuals to join our team in a variety of positions. Full, part time or on-call available.

Our ideal candidates will fill a number of different roles as needed. Join new ownership in rolling out our exciting changes, including a new tavern and expanded food options as well as improvements throughout the golf course and grounds.

Bartender/Clubhouse Attendant
The Bartender/Clubhouse attendant’s primary responsibility is alcohol and beverage service for golfers and patrons visiting our clubhouse. Additional duties include light food service (hot dogs and sandwiches), answering phones and booking tee times using our electronic system. At overflow times, you will help greet and check-in golfers.
You must be at least 21 years old. We are seeking an avid conversationalist with a friendly, outgoing personality. Prior bartending experience preferred but not required. You will be required to pass TIPS liquor test as a condition of employment. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset but need flexible availability based on weather conditions.

Clubhouse Attendant
The Clubhouse Attendant is the key interface with golf course patrons. Your primary duty will be to enthusiastically schedule, greet and check in golfers, and manage pro shop sales. Additional duties include answering phones, booking tee times, supporting food and beverage operations, and providing outdoor clubhouse area assistance as necessary.
You must be at least 20 years old. We are seeking an avid conversationalist with a friendly, outgoing personality. Prior golf course experience preferred but not required. You will be required to pass TIPS liquor test as a condition of employment. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset but need flexible availability based on weather conditions.

Beverage Cart Attendant
The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for on-course alcohol and beverage service on our 18-hole golf course. This seasonal position would find you working outdoors amidst our pristine links style golf course and adjacent wetlands. The beverage cart is your personal mobile bar. In addition to on-course service, you will be responsible for stocking and removing stock from the beverage cart, performing cash and credit transactions, and properly cleaning the beverage cart at completion of your shift.
You must be at least 21 years old. We are seeking an avid conversationalist with a friendly, outgoing personality. Prior beverage cart attendant experience preferred but not required. Waitperson
The waitperson is an important part of our hospitality staff. If you are friendly, outgoing and can deliver a high level of customer satisfaction, you’ll use these service skills and play a large role in the growth of our club. Your primary duty is to enthusiastically greet golfers and patrons visiting our club house and make them feel welcome while serving them food and drinks. Our top waitperson profile is efficient, calm and possess the ability to get food and drinks to the tables promptly. Waitstaff should have a genuine knowledge of and love for good food and drinks.
You must be at least 20 years old. We are seeking an avid conversationalist with a friendly, outgoing personality. Prior waitstaff experience preferred but not required. You will be required to pass TIPS liquor test as a condition of employment. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset but need flexible availability based on weather conditions.

Starter/Ranger
The Starter/Ranger performs all on-course duties in helping guests start and enjoy their golf rounds. You will be responsible for knowledgeably answering golfer questions about the features and conditions of the course. You will monitor all golfers on the course and maintain the expected pace of play. You will also ensure that ALL restrictions are obeyed and followed (alcohol policies, pace of play, behavior and conflict resolution). As part of your on-course activities, you will inspect the entire golf course daily and pass along observations and potential issues.
We are seeking an individual with a friendly, outgoing personality. Prior starter/ranger experience preferred but not required. A strong knowledge of the game of golf is required. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset but need flexible availability based on weather conditions.

Cart Person
The Cart Person is a customer-facing position primarily responsible for organizing and maintaining our fleet of golf carts and driving range. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person that can deliver a high level of customer service. You would be responsible for organizing and preparing golf carts for daily rounds and outings as well as cleaning and washing golf carts after each use. Other duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining cleanliness of the restrooms, emptying waste cans in the clubhouse and on the golf course, maintaining housekeeping on the golf tee boxes and sorting returnable cans. You will also be responsible for overseeing the golf range including collecting and washing range balls.
You must be at least 16 years old. We are seeking a friendly, smiling, outgoing personality. You should be someone that can comfortably talk to people of all ages and from all walks of life. No experience is necessary; and we will train you. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset but need flexible availability based on weather conditions.

Short Order Cook
Our Short Order Cooks will prepare fast, simple food like sandwiches, chicken, burgers, wings, fries and other bar/golf course foods. You will be occasionally be working on several orders at once, getting them out as fast as possible for our hungry customers. Our cooking environment is different from fast food or traditional full-service restaurants. Our guests and patrons are on their own time schedules based on the rounds of golf. We will be testing menu options based on our customer’s preferences and recommendations.
If you are a creative and enthusiastic person who is excited about cooking, preparing a variety of food options, and experimenting with new offerings based on customer demand, this could be a position for you. We are now accepting applications for full-time, part-time or on-call positions. You must be at least 18 years old. Prior cooking experience preferred but not required. We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset but need flexible availability based on weather conditions.

Gardener
The Gardener would work in collaboration with the Golf Course Superintendent to maintain the landscape and gardens on the property. Our gardener is expected to maintain the golf course gardens and landscaping to the standards required by the management team while not disrupting the golfer’s experience. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain our garden areas to a high standard of health, creativity and beauty by weeding, fertilizing and watering on a regular basis.
This is a part-time seasonal position starting at ten hours a week. This position would be weather dependent, and you would develop a schedule that meets both yours and our needs. There may be potential to add more hours as business or special events dictate. You must be at least 18 years old and gardening or plant maintenance experience is preferred but not a requirement.
